Silverstone Park’s profile as a leading advanced engineering and technology campus was firmly cemented at the Silverstone Technology Cluster’s (STC) Innovation & Growth Roundtable.

The Park’s Marketing Manager Chantal Lawren-Welch was able to speak of its continued growth whilst celebrating occupiers’ own innovations and achievements in front of industry leaders who gathered from across the cluster.

The Roundtable event marked the first of two significant industry events this summer/autumn at which the campus is partnering with the STC – later this year (30-31 October), the two will combine to host the popular VIP Lounge at the Advanced Engineering Show inside Birmingham’s NEC.

“This conference was an important opportunity for us to showcase to our peers the innovative, industry leading work our businesses have been doing right across the park,” commented Chantal.

“Sharing the stage with major players for hi-tech innovators including the UK Army, US DEVCOM and Innovate UK, Silverstone Park’s sponsorship of these events really gives us a unique opportunity to get in front of thought leaders and position our campus as the place for future innovation”.

Following the Roundtable event, held at HCR Hewitsons within the University of Northampton campus, STC CEO Pim van Baarsen said: “Silverstone Park is not only a founding member but has continued to be a huge supporter of the STC and our drive to represent and support the 3,000-plus tech businesses in the Silverstone region since our launch in 2017.

“Seeing what Silverstone Park are doing with the school’s partnership programme, is something our network felt inspired by and it was evident from the students that had been interviewed how engaged they were with businesses on the park.

“The development of the next generation – to take up advanced engineering and technical careers – is something that struck a chord with our audience.
