Manufacturers’ organisation EEF has again chosen Silverstone Park’s Innovation Centre to host another of its influential Manufacturing Connect forums.
The event, on Wednesday 7 June, is in association with BDO UK LLP and titled Manufacturing Trends. It will provide latest economic insights and context for current trends across manufacturing, plus up-to-date political developments (General Election and ‘Brexit’).
“This event is a must-attend for manufacturers hoping to make informed decisions affecting the strategy of their organisation, as well as sharing experience with and learning from their peers,” commented Charles Garfit, EEF’s Membership Engagement Director.
“With the latest economic data on manufacturing trends and forecasts, there will also be the ability to help shape key messages that EEF will be taking to the new Government at this critical time for our sector.”
Speakers at the event, which runs from 9.15am-1.00pm, will include Silverstone Technology Cluster CEO Pim van Baarsen and EEF’s Interim Midlands and East Region Director Charlotte Horobin. CLICK HERE for more information and to book places.
The Innovation Centre also hosted EEF’s recent Manufacturing Connect forum (30 March) helping companies to prepare for the next digitally-driven Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Among those giving insights was MEPC’s Roz Bird, Commercial Director for Silverstone Park.
Charlotte Horobin enthused: “It is clear that developments at Silverstone Park mean it is becoming increasingly important in the high-tech sectors – particularly given its position at the heart of the Silverstone Technology Cluster.
“With Silverstone Grand Prix circuit as part of its backdrop and the excellent business facilities provided by its Innovation Centre, it is therefore an ideal location for EEF to attract and engage with key industry players and help give manufacturing companies a real edge.”
