More fun social events for Silverstone Park occupiers

16 August 2022

MEPC has increased the number of social activities for business occupiers at its Silverstone Park business estate with the reintroduction of boot camp and yoga sessions as well as its annual sports evening event.

Yoga and boot camp sessions will commence each week, beginning 6 and 15 September respectively, and take place in the Silverstone Park grounds (weather permitting).

The sports evening – which includes fun competitions such as well-wanging, penalty shoot-out and sack racing – will be held on 8 September.

“Physical and mental wellbeing plays such an important role in the contemporary workplace, so we’re delighted to be bringing back these activities for our occupiers,” said Kiely Nichols, Silverstone Park’s Occupier Liaison and Events Co-ordinator.

“Each activity provides a fun environment for employees from neighbouring businesses to get to know each other and also help occupiers to continue attracting and retain the best people.”

As Covid restrictions have relaxed, MEPC has also been able to reintroduce many events that have previously proved popular with Silverstone Park occupiers.

In 2022, these have included a pub quiz, five-a-side football and a summer BBQ.

It has also confirmed an roof top terrace ‘evening drinks’ get together for occupiers at the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel overlooking the Silverstone circuit on 28 September, plus a coffee morning and bake-off on 29 September in aid of the national Macmillan Coffee Morning.
