Silverstone Park Innovation Centre ideal place for dynamic ZetaSafe to fulfil commercial potential
18 March 2016
ZetaSafe has become the latest advanced software business to relocate to Silverstone Park’s Innovation Centre as it emerges as a leading cloud-based solution in health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
The company’s software solution helps organisations to collect, manage and share data for health, safety, quality and environmental compliance. Customers are able to schedule and collect data using smartphones, PDAs or tablets, manage the status of their assets and compliance on their tablet or PC and share business critical information with colleagues. It identifies concerns and informs the user if remedial action is required, providing the all-important audit trail and giving peace of mind.
The brainchild of Founding Director Rob Nicoll, great care has clearly gone into developing the system, which, although highly sophisticated underneath, is kept user-friendly for customers.
And it works! In its first ten years ZetaSafe’s software has been used by more than 20,000 people to protect in excess of 1,010,000 assets and recorded some 37,000,000 results.
Chief Operating Officer Andy Dobbins explains: “It’s all about enabling estate, asset facilities and health and safety managers to protect people, places, assets and reputations – these include some of the world’s most prestigious educational establishments, construction projects, healthcare institutions and manufacturing sites linked to many well-known global corporate brands.
“Since de-merging from Zeta Compliance Group plc in 2015, ZetaSafe has continued to experience phenomenal growth. We are investing significantly in developing the product to ensure we exceed our clients’ needs.”
Indeed ZetaSafe’s workforce is in good company in the Innovation Centre: just along the corridor is Fibonacci which has created software that again enables the end user to pull together and simplify essential data and is proving highly effective in the UK’s National Health Service. Right next door is Design Rule which, again using extremely complex software, is among Europe’s premier providers of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for aerospace and automotive businesses.
Air-conditioned offices, a highly desirable address next to the Silverstone Formula 1 circuit and a massively powerful broadband speed of up to 1Gbps were all clearly highly attractive to a technically-minded company with ambition such as ZetaSafe.
Andy adds: “There was plenty of appeal to being based at Silverstone Park’s Innovation Centre – the availability of space and a building that meets our needs in terms of connectivity and functionality, a prestigious and well known address, the high quality of the offering, the well maintained site – in short, a better experience for our team and our clients.
“We very much consider ZetaSafe as an advanced software engineering business and actually, our neighbour is another such business so we feel very at home here. Plus those of us who love motorsport can’t fail to enjoy other aspects of the surroundings!
“We are a hugely dynamic business and in order to fulfil our commercial potential for our stakeholders – as well as providing the world-class solutions for our growing international customer base – we require larger premises for development, training, support and exemplary customer service. This move is the latest in the evolution of ZetaSafe.”
