MKGN’s co-founder Richard Wiggins is an ambassador for the Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC) and, as owner of web design agency Pixel Creation, is also well connected within creative and digital circles.

“The evenings we hold attract some really excellent speakers within industry and can cover all manner of subjects – people are always learning and coming away feeling inspired and refreshed,” he commented.

“It’s led to us building a very good community; people have ended up working together off the back of events and some very good friendships have been formed as well.”

He added: “We’ve had some good partners at international level and Silverstone Park is a different kind of name for us again. It’s a great brand and a place where lots of exciting things are happening on the technology front which is very good for the region.

“We’d like to thank the Park very much for its support – we are entering our seventh year and without partners we cannot run these events for the creative and digital communities.”

MEPC’s Roz Bird, Commercial Director at Silverstone Park and also Chair of the STC, said: “We’re delighted to give our support to MK Geek Night. The evenings help to motivate and fire innovation within individuals working in some important sectors and can open new doors for their businesses.

“MK Geek Night complements Silverstone Park’s own popular business networking events which are held in our Innovation Centre. These are also about bringing together like-minded people for some interesting debate and potential collaboration so it’s a perfect fit.”
