MEPC has been granted planning consent to commence with its fifth phase of industrial development at Silverstone Park.
The scheme will deliver four properties totalling c.190,000 sq ft of industrial/hybrid accommodation, designed with high-tech businesses in mind.
This will be on land adjacent to the recently completed Phase 2 and 3 developments – by the main Dadford Road roundabout leading to the Silverstone Circuit’s main entrance.

MEPC Development Manager Alex Housden commented:
The delivery of Phase 5 will build on the exceptional quality of accommodation brought forward by MEPC in Phase 3 which completed in the summer.
“Phase 5 will also transform the appearance of Dadford Road in terms of the arrival experience.
“A significant landscaped corridor between the building frontages and the road will be provided, with a wide variety of planting, new trees, a scenic walkway segregated from the road and even outdoor exercise equipment being installed.
“This is to encourage use of the outdoor space for occupiers to socialise and maintains the focus on health and wellbeing that we are providing at the estate.”
Alex added: “The main spine road through this development land is now fully operational so will provide swift access for businesses locating to Phase 5 and will ensure servicing of the buildings is kept away from the Dadford Road.
“People might notice a slightly different architectural design – the properties will certainly complement those in phases 2 and 3 but the colour palate is evolving.
“We are already in discussions with interested parties before we have even begun construction works.
“Once the development is complete and businesses have fitted out their premises, they really will be able to ‘plug in and go’ thanks to the considerable underground utilities work that were previously installed.”
MEPC has already been granted planning consent for a Phase 4 scheme (CLICK HERE) a 95,000 sq ft development on land adjacent to the Silverstone Park Innovation Centre that will provide a variety of hybrid industrial and office accommodation as well as a cafe, creche and gym.
