HEART OF THE SILVERSTONE TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER

HEART OF THE SILVERSTONE TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER AND CENTRE OF INNOVATION

Be part of the Cluster with access to the specialist supply chain and skills pool. Silverstone Park lies at the heart of a world-leading cluster of high-tech engineering businesses now known as the Silverstone Technology Cluster, with a world-renowned innovation centre at the core of the Park.

This cluster was identified following a report*, commissioned by Silverstone Park developer MEPC and its partners Barclays and PwC.

The report revealed that a staggering 4,000 companies operating in precision engineering are based within a one-hour radius of Silverstone and are not just co-locating, but benefitting from strong relationships over time and a specialist skills pool with strong local roots.

The report also shows this extraordinary concentration of talent globally serves a wide variety of sectors reliant on state-of-the-art technologies, cutting edge design and manufacturing, such as aerospace, automotive, defence, electronic sensors, marine medical devices and motorsport.

Through advancement of technology and utilisation of our Innovation Centre, serviced offices and other facilities, the next step is future proofing the area as a global business destination and to set up a cluster organisation – the Silverstone Technology Cluster.
