Brego scales at Silverstone Park with pioneering AI vehicle valuation technology
News / 24 August, 2026
Brego, a fast-growing vehicle valuation technology company, is scaling rapidly after joining Silverstone Park’s community of more than 90 businesses earlier this year.
Since moving into the Innovation Centre, the company has already expanded into a larger office to support rising demand for its AI-powered platform. Six sales and marketing employees are now based at the Park, within a 12-strong team overall.
Its progress underlines Silverstone Park’s position as a leading UK innovation campus, where ambitious businesses can access flexible space, specialist networks and talent.
Founder Simon Hunt created Brego following a personal experience while working at Goldman Sachs in 2019.
“I bought a Jaguar XJ and watched its value fall off a cliff,” he says. “I didn’t realise how much money I’d lost until I left Goldman – and it made me think: wouldn’t it be great if someone could tell you how much a car is really going to cost you over time?”
That idea became Brego. Today, the company applies neural network technology to vehicle valuation, using machine learning and data science to analyse every car advertised for sale in the UK alongside extensive DVLA and MOT data.
“We break a vehicle down into its individual parts and features,” explains Simon. “Instead of saying a car is worth X, we show why it’s worth X.”
This detailed approach enables Brego to value new models with no sales history, track used vehicles and assess specialist assets including motorhomes, touring and holiday caravans, static homes and other leisure vehicles. Manufacturers also use the platform to value concept cars.
“The accuracy tests we’ve done always put us on top,” Simon adds.
“Customers tell us we’re the best in the UK – they’ve done their due diligence.”
Brego’s move into a larger 850 sq ft office within the Innovation Centre demonstrates the value of a campus designed for growth. The company continues to recruit as its customer base expands.
“We may need even more office space in the not-too-distant future – we’re seeing a real surge in trade and a growing influx of customers,” says Simon.
“It’s an inspiring location for us and there’s something very cool about building a business at Silverstone Park.
“The companies around us are really cutting edge and, of course, we’ve got the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit right outside our window.”
With its combination of adaptable workspace, sector expertise and proximity to one of the world’s best-known motorsport venues, Silverstone Park provides a distinctive environment in which technology-led companies such as Brego can connect, innovate and scale.
