Silverstone Park & occupiers to exhibit at MIA’s CTS23 show

Events / 9 October, 2023

A year on from winning a major award, Silverstone Park will once more be amongst the exhibitors at the Motorsport Industry Association’s (MIA) big ‘CTS2023’ show inside the Silverstone Circuit’s Wing building this week (Weds 11-Thurs 12 October).

MEPC’s Chris Kimber-Nickelson (Commercial Director) and Ruth Williams (Asset Manager), plus other members of the Silverstone Park team, will be available to discuss on-going developments at Silverstone Park which has become a global destination for technology businesses.

In addition, Silverstone Park occupiers Competition Supplies, Solid Solutions and NICAB will be joining Silverstone Park with their own exhibitor stands to showcase their specialisms.

Chris Kimber-Nickelson said: “The MIA’s CTS23 show is a really worthwhile event for Silverstone Park to have a presence and we look forward to continuing to work closely with the MIA.

“The CTS show is a hot spot for networking amongst business professionals in the worlds of motorsport engineering and technology.

“Many of the technology businesses at the Park have motorsport roots or continue to work in motorsport, either contributing significantly to the sector’s supply chain or having successfully transferred their knowledge from the track to other sectors such as aerospace, marine, defence and space.”

At 2022’s CTS, Silverstone Park won the MIA’s ‘Services to the Industry’ award, leading the network’s CEO Chris Aylett to comment: “An increasing number of motorsport businesses are taking advantage of the stunning development of MEPC’s Silverstone Park and the skills pool in the surrounding area.

“Both these factors help all those on the Park to succeed on track and to diversify into other sectors.”
