Silverstone Park has congratulated its good neighbour Silverstone Circuit on securing the Formula 1 British Grand Prix for a further ten years.
The circuit confirmed last week that it will continue to host the British GP until 2034 at least after reaching a new agreement with F1.
A number of the high-tech businesses located at Silverstone Park – some specialising in engineering, others in manufacturing – are part of Formula 1’s supply chain.
MEPC’s Chris Kimber-Nickelson, Commercial Director, Silverstone Park, commented: “This is terrific news for the circuit, all business occupiers at Silverstone Park and their customers, plus the surrounding region in terms of kudos and economic benefit.”
