Diva Group thriving at Silverstone Park following major expansion

E‑commerce specialist Diva Group is continuing to grow at Silverstone Park, 18 months after moving into more than 100,000 sq ft of modern premises.

The expansion from a 30,000 sq ft unit has transformed the pace and scale of the business, which now fulfils thousands of orders a day for customers across the UK.

Founded by Afghanistan‑born entrepreneur Diva Patang, the company imports and sells its own brands alongside well‑known household names.

“We have a very close relationship with e-commerce platforms because of the amount of products we sell and the volume we can fulfil from here at Silverstone,” she says.

Diva Group’s core business focuses on everyday products – “the kind of thing you’d find in B&Q” – including its own gardening ranges. A separate arm has also moved into luxury furniture, broadening the Group’s reach.

Diva says:

“It was a big jump but the time was right for expansion.”

The workforce has grown to 100 people, supported by the area’s strong talent pool.

“It’s quite easy to find good staff here with the universities and improved transportation,” she adds.

Most of the premises is dedicated to warehousing, packed floor‑to‑ceiling with pallets of ready‑to‑ship products. Shopfloor teams manage constant packing and dispatch to a busy distribution yard, supported by forklifts and segway carts for efficient movement. A large office space – furnished with many of Diva Group’s own products – houses staff working across sales and logistics.

The new warehouse space has filled far faster than expected. “I thought it would take a couple of years, but it happened a lot quicker. Everything has expanded three times. Maybe in six months to a year we will look more seriously at expanding further – and Silverstone Park is the place.”

Diva is already planning ahead. “I want to stay in 100,000 sq ft but also expand to 500,000 sq ft. It’s definitely possible – we’ve already had that discussion.”

Technology is also accelerating progress. “AI has brought a lot of sense to the business. We use it every day for customer service, images, listings and sales predictions. It’s become a powerful tool and has helped us redeploy people while saving the business money.”
