Helping to address the skills gap, supporting ‘next generation talent’ and business growth – read on for three Q1 success stories from Silverstone Park.
Since November and into Q1 of 2025, the successful Silverstone Park Schools Programme has visited the Sponne, Kingsthorpe College and Buckingham secondary schools.
In those three months alone, the Programme’s network of business volunteers – all from companies at Silverstone Park – have met with 730 Year 8/Year 9 students (aged 12-14) to highlight the types of career pathways and opportunities effectively on their doorstep at the campus.
These are in advanced manufacturing, engineering and software development and in projects for sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defence, F1, Olympic sports and even space.
Notably, many of the students being reached by the Programme are from under-represented backgrounds.

STOP PRESS: beginning in early April the Silverstone Park Schools Programme has partnered with the Silverstone Technology Cluster to expand its careers advice offering to older sixth form students, initially with Kingsthorpe College and also the Northampton School for Girls.
It’s not just in the technology sphere that Silverstone Park is supporting careers. In spring, the campus will welcome students from MK College (Milton Keynes) for a ‘live site’ tour of its latest ‘Evolve’ industrial development.
The tour will aim to give the students a first-hand experience of what it is like to work on a living, breathing industrial commercial site.
Meanwhile, there has been great news at Silverstone Park on the growth front with e-commerce business Diva Group expanding from 33,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft premises at the campus.
In addition, Lunaz has also reported a 150% increase in demand overseas for the luxury classic cars it converts to electric power inside its 30,000-plus sq ft factory at Silverstone Park.
