The Silverstone Park Community

A thriving community

As part of the Silverstone Park community we are making it easier for everyone to attain a good work-life balance. We have a range of amenities for everyone to enjoy, including an on-site café, a gym and a variety of outside spaces. The social committee meets quarterly to discuss community events and organise the Park’s sports and social programme.

Virtual Coffee Morning, every Wednesday

Each Wednesday morning (10:30) we’re helping our business community to stay connected with a virtual Coffee Morning via Zoom.

The informal get-togethers enable occupiers, their staff and the Silverstone Park team to chat during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please email for log-in details.

Virtual Pilates, every Wednesday

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are able to turn our weekly Pilates classes into virtual sessions via Zoom.

From the comfort of their own home, newcomers and seasoned Pilates fans will be guided through exercise techniques on-screen. Please email for login details.

Weekend wind-down, every Friday

At the end of a long-week, would you like to catch up with other Silverstone Park occupiers and their staff – whether furloughed or not – to keep in touch with one another before heading into the weekend?

We can organise a virtual ‘weekend wind-down’ session on Zoom each Friday afternoon if people would like to do this? Please email for further information.

Wear It Pink day, October

During October, companies at Silverstone Park are encouraged to don a splash of pink in aid of the nationwide ‘Wear It Pink Day'.

The day is part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month run by Breast Cancer Now and in recent years the fun activity has raised about £600.

MacMillan Bake Off, September

A hugely popular ‘bake off’ is held each year for Silverstone Park companies as part of Macmillan’s nationwide World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

In five years, c.£1,200 has been raised through the activity for MacMillan Cancer Support by occupiers.

Sports Evening, September

Welly wanging, tug ‘o’ war and penalty shoot-outs, plus ‘wheelbarrow’, sack, egg ‘n’ spoon and three-legged races…

Each is part of the fun and games during a fun sports evening and picnic event for Silverstone Park’s occupier businesses. 2019’s event took place on Monday 9 Sept.

International Women's Day

In March 2020, Silverstone Park invited its occupiers to take part in a week of activities to honour International Women's Day (8 March).

These included an image gallery, a quiz, a celebratory cake, live BBC radio airtime, podcasts and a blog, and news announcements in support of both the Construction industry and gender equality and diversity in business and society.

Bootcamp, every Thursday

As part of Silverstone Park's on-going commitment to the health and well-being of occupiers and members, we organise a series of weekly Boot Camp sessions.

A trained fitness instructor puts our occupiers through their paces with high energy, fun and intense sessions.

Quiz Nights

Bringing out the competitive streak in our occupiers, popular quiz nights are held on site every few months.

Each one attracts a full house plus plenty of head scratching and fun banter – all washed down with curry and a pint in the neighbouring Silverstone circuit paddock’s Pit Stop Cafe.

Summer BBQ, July

Some 300 employees from the Park's occupier businesses attend our summer BBQ on the stunning University Technology College’s (UTC) terrace.

Excellent food, live music and even race cars testing on the neighbouring Silverstone Grand Prix circuit are all included. CLICK HERE for news of 2019’s event…

5-a-side Football, every Wednesday

As well as the social benefits for employees, there are the additional health gains a game of Five-A-Side can provide.

These include increased well-being and motivation resulting in improved productivity and staff retention – the perfect way to get your business match fit!

Pilates, every Wednesday

Our professionally organised sessions cater for both newcomers and seasoned fans of Pilates.

Classes, held inside the Silverstone Park Innovation Centre, use calming exercise techniques to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility of joints and both reduce and manage stress.
