Thanks to occupiers for “invaluable” travel feedback

Silverstone Park has thanked business occupiers and their employees for participating in its annual Travel Survey that focuses on how they journey to and from the estate.

Close to 500 employees – around a third of the current workforce at Silverstone Park – provided feedback in the questionnaire survey.

“It’s fantastic that so many people have given such invaluable feedback,” said Veronica Reynolds, Silverstone Park’s appointed Travel Advisor.

“How people travel to, from and around Silverstone Park is of a genuine, real importance to us and we would like to say a big ‘thank you’ all those who took part.

Veronica added: “The survey has also highlighted how much people enjoy working at Silverstone Park – the sense of community, an appreciation of the green spaces around them and the social side, participating in the activities that are arranged for them.”

Of those who took part in the survey, 15 were selected at random to receive Love to Shop vouchers worth between £50 and £100.

Andrew Early, Chief Engineer at Dumarey Flybrid, stated: “I complete the travel survey every year as I thinks it’s important for Silverstone Park to understand how people travel to the site.

“I recently started car sharing with one of our new starters. This is working great and saving us both £15 a week, not to mention the CO2 emissions!

“The incentives to complete the survey are great, too, and this year I won a £50 Love to Shop voucher!”

Mel Bignell, Administration Assistant at Silverstone Composites, continued: “I was happy to complete the survey which I hope will help further enhance the wonderful facilities for staff from local businesses to enjoy.

“It’s already great to see so many people out walking, cycling or running at lunch time, like I do, on the designated walkways or enjoying lunch on the picnic benches provided.

“The neighbouring woods also provide a safe, peaceful and beautiful haven to enjoy, too, whatever the season.”

Beki Eastwood, a Management Accountant at Sistem Technology, added: “Answering surveys provides valuable insights, helping Silverstone Park to understand customer preferences, improve products and services, and tailor the environment we work in.

“It also empowers individuals to voice opinions, influencing future developments and helps the great community feel at Silverstone Park.

“Participating can also reap rewards for answering and, on this occasion, I won a shopping voucher! Overall, surveys benefit both individuals and organisations by promoting engagement, informed decision-making and continuous improvement.”

Tomas Aart, a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Delta Cosworth, said: “It is assuring that Silverstone Park is asking, listening and implementing changes to improve occupiers’ daily lives and efficiency.”
