Silverstone Park will host a high profile industry workshop reviewing the potential way forward for electric vehicle technologies this Friday 15 November.
The workshop, entitled ‘The Electric Vehicle Transition: A Watershed Moment?’ is being organised by Coventry University Centre for Business in Society (CBiS) in collaboration with the Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC).
World famous EV and automotive names such as Millbrook Proving Ground, FIA Formula E and Aston Martin will be included on a panel of experts.
A networking lunch will also potentially open up opportunities for guests.
Coventry University has described the event as “a multi-disciplinary workshop involving industry, policy and academic speakers, reflecting on a decade of EV deployments and considering whether EV development and adoption has reached a ‘tipping point’.”
The University’s Dr David Jarvis commented: “We are delighted to be collaborating with the STC on this event which is the latest in a series of conferences and workshops built around CBiS’ core research priorities.
“Collaboration with STC provides us with a unique opportunity to assemble a group of industry, academic and policy stakeholders, both to reflect on a decade of EV deployment and consider the most important trends currently.”
The event will run from 09:00-15:30. It will be followed by an optional tour of the Silverstone Park business estate which is increasingly becoming a magnet for business in EV technology and activity.
