The ‘Inside Silverstone’ podcast – including interviews with Silverstone Park occupiers and business members of the Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC) – has celebrated its 50th episode.
Chris Broome, who hosts the show, hit the half-century landmark with his interview with Tim Maccabee, MD of Silverstone Park-based Ducati UK.
The podcast started in September 2018 with, aptly, STC CEO Pim van Baarsen and Chair Roz Bird (also Silverstone Park Commercial Director) as its first guests.

Chris, of Silverstone Park virtual tenant and STC member Longhurst, said: “If I’m honest, I’ve enjoyed each and every interview so far, but if I had to pick one as my favourite then I’d say it was the Kingsthorpe College speed networking session with the students (as part of STC founding member Silverstone Park’s Inspiration for Innovation careers programme with Gaia Innovation).
“The questions being asked, their clear desire to want to understand different career paths and their cheekiness at times was an inspiration, and made the whole experience really enjoyable.
“Having now been part of the Silverstone Park business community for two years, I can say without any doubt that it’s a fantastic place to be, to work and to socialise.
“Yes, the podcast has been successful (which in turn has supported Longhurst’s growth), but our biggest win is the growing friendship circle that we’ve created with fellow residents, members and podcast guests.”
