From supernatural horror, to bumping into reality TV celebrities, to dreams of a property portfolio, to injuring herself on motocross bikes – meet Kiely Nichols, MEPC Silverstone Park’s new Administrative Assistant.
Kiely joined the team in August 2021 and says:
“It’s a bit different to my previous jobs and quite challenging, but I like a challenge!
“A lot of it involves dealing with utility companies, helping run events and handling occupier enquiries. It’s busy but helps me to push myself, and everyone is so friendly – it’s been easy to fit in.”
MEPC’s expansion of Silverstone Park is giving Kiely valuable insight into the property market.
Kiely adds:
“I’d love one day to do up a string of properties to showroom standard and sell them on – yes, here is on a different scale (industrial property instead of dwellings) but it’s teaching me about things like rent and fit-outs.”
Homes Under The Hammer is a favourite TV show, but Kiely admits she’s just as likely to watch supernatural horror on the box. “Nearly every night! I like the recent Insidious and Annabel movies – I like things that shock me or make me jump!”
Kiely is also into her gym work-outs and cycling – something that perhaps stems from the tough physical sport of motocross which she pursued during childhood.
Kiely continued:
I broke a few fingers and have a few scars. I still have my PW50 bike which I’d like to fix up as my eight-year-old daughter wants to try it.
Indeed, Kiely’s not one for sitting still – even when on holiday.
Kiely added:
“I really like clubbing in Marbella with friends – you bump into reality TV people like Scott T (Geordie Shores) or Jasmin Walia (TOWIE) and say ‘hi’ but they walk off quite quickly!”
There has been success with bigger celebrities, though. “I once got (popstar) Kim Wilde’s autograph at a Wyvevale Garden Centre and (motocross superstar) Travis Pastrana picked me out of the audience at the O2 Arena and gave me a goodie bag.”
